BYD Atto 3 Price in Cambodia | Cost & Specs

Recently, many Cambodian consumers have been asking about the local price of the popular BYD Atto 3 electric vehicle. As BYD’s global strategic model, the Atto 3 (called Yuan PLUS in China) has reached customers in 116 countries with over 950,000 units sold worldwide.

01 Cambodia Market Price Forecast

Based on BYD’s Southeast Asian pricing strategy, we expect the Cambodian price to align closely with Thailand and Malaysia markets. In Thailand, the BYD Atto 3 sells for approximately 220,000 Chinese yuan.

Meanwhile, Malaysia recently launched the 2025 Atto 3 Ultra priced at RM123,800 (about 188,000 Chinese yuan). Notably, BYD reduced this model’s price by RM26,000 from its previous version.

Considering Cambodia’s market conditions and regional pricing patterns, we anticipate the BYD Atto 3 will cost between $25,000 and $35,000 USD. However, the final price will depend on configuration choices, local taxes, and additional factors.

02 Global Price Comparisons

The BYD Atto 3 shows significant price variations across different markets. For example, Singapore buyers face the highest price at 850,000 Chinese yuan due to certificate of entitlement fees and substantial taxes.

European markets also command premium prices: 330,000 yuan in Sweden, 320,000 yuan in France, and 300,000 yuan in the UK.

Conversely, Southeast Asian markets offer more accessible pricing: 220,000 yuan in Thailand, 230,000 yuan in Malaysia, and 228,000 yuan in Japan. As BYD’s production base, China provides the most affordable option starting at just 139,800 Chinese yuan. These variations primarily result from differing tariff policies, transportation expenses, and market strategies.

03 Key Features and Technical Specifications

The BYD Atto 3 delivers not only competitive pricing but also outstanding performance. Its front-mounted single motor generates 150 kW (204 PS) of power and 310 Nm of torque, enabling rapid acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.

The vehicle incorporates a 60.48 kWh Blade Battery (LFP) that supports both 88 kW DC fast charging and 7 kW AC regular charging. Furthermore, it achieves an impressive 420 km range under WLTP standards and 480 km under NEDC standards, comfortably meeting both daily commuting and long-distance travel requirements.

04 Design and Interior Features

The Atto 3 boasts a modern, stylish exterior with dimensions of 4,455 mm long, 1,875 mm wide, and 1,615 mm high. Its 2,720 mm wheelbase ensures generous interior space.

Inside, the cabin features a distinctive design with all-black interior accented by lemon green stitching. The door panels showcase unique “guitar string” decorative elements.

For 2025 models, the new front seat ventilation function proves particularly valuable in Cambodia’s tropical climate. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, and a 360-degree panoramic imaging system.

05 Safety and Warranty Coverage

Regarding safety, the BYD Atto 3 provides comprehensive protection with 7 airbags and an advanced driver assistance system. This system includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane centering assistance, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

BYD will likely offer Cambodian consumers warranty terms similar to other markets: 6-year/150,000 km vehicle coverage, 8-year/150,000 km drivetrain protection, and 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty. This extensive warranty package demonstrates BYD’s confidence in its product quality while assuring long-term ownership satisfaction.

06 Charging Solutions and Accessories

When purchasing a BYD Atto 3, customers typically receive various charging accessories. In Malaysia, for instance, buyers get a wall-mounted charger (value RM3,699), a V2L adapter (value RM988), and a Type 2 charging cable (value RM1,796).

The V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) adapter serves as particularly useful feature, enabling the vehicle to power external devices—perfect for camping trips or emergency situations. BYD will probably provide similar charging solutions in Cambodia, ensuring owners can conveniently meet their daily charging needs.

Conclusion

Ultimately, local taxes, import duties, and dealer policies will determine the final Cambodian price for the BYD Atto 3. As BYD continues expanding globally, Cambodian consumers will access this technologically advanced, fully-equipped electric SUV at a highly competitive price point. The Atto 3 represents not just an eco-friendly transportation solution, but also a smart investment in future mobility.
